Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights, starts tonight at sundown. I think this celebration has one of the bestculinary traditionsof any holiday: fried foods, likelatkesand donuts. If you’re feeling inspired to make your own donuts this year, this family recipefor the Spanish donuts known as buñuelos (a.k.a. bimuelos), from Michael Natkin of the vegetarian blogHerbivoracious, looks delicious and dead easy to make.
