What is it?

Runnier than ganache, chocolate syrup is a common dessert condiment that can be added to ice cream and baked goods. While it is readily available the supermarket, you can also easily make your own, as chocolate syrup is composed of basic general ingredients, such as unsweetened cocoa powder, corn syrup, sugar, water and flavorings such as vanilla.
