Green Power Smoothie

Servings:1 to 2

This classic green smoothie balances the power of spinach and chia seeds with the sweetness of grapes and apples. If your grapes aren’t frozen when you add them, add three or four more ice cubes for a thicker texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and cubed (about 9 oz.)
  • 1 packed cup baby spinach (about 1-1/2 oz.)
  • 1/2 cup frozen seedless grapes, red or green (about 3 oz.)
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and cubed (about 3 oz.)
  • 1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs. chia seeds
  • 3 medium ice cubes

I love this recipe and make it often but I calculated the calories and came up with ~300 calories (298, specifically), not 100.
