  • 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 to 2 tsp. chopped fresh dill (optional)

    No, Ivy Manning, no. As a greek who has been making tzatziki for thirty years, you do not use black pepper - not ever. And why use a word like "authentic" as the previous reviewer did if you don't know that something is truly so.
    Abd also Ivy, only southern mainland Greeks use dill - most others think it is gross in tzatziki.
